Client: Private Healthcare Provider, Glasgow

The scheme was to develop a feasible design for the recladding of the existing 30 year old metal clad building to meet the current fire and Part L standards.

The client’s brief required a proposal that delivered value for money whilst being sympathetic to the original hospital Listed Building, re-establishing the hospital’s image as modern state of the art facility.

The design addressed the client’s aspirations in a proposal that the original building structure could support. The solution was to install in sections in a phased approach to ensure clinical operations could be maintained at the hospital for the duration of the works.
